Description: In 1955 Bowman framed their set of baseball cards in the most modern way they could imagine: in a color TV! Here's the breakdown on these 12 cards: Bubba Phillips--#228 No creases or bends. Back is perfect. Corners have minor rounding. Someone has written a number "2" on the lower left corner of the TV but that probably could be removed professionally. Solly Hemus--#107 No creases or bends. There is a small dark area on the back near the number that looks like an old gum stain. Corners have minor rounding. The number "2" has been written on the lower right hand corner of the TV set but probably can be removed professionally. Steve Bilko--#88 No bends but a minor crease where it says "Color TV". Corners show signs of wear. Bilko looks really determined, doesn't he? Gerry Staley--#155 No bends or creases. Signs of wear on the corners, particularly lower right. Ken Lehman--#310 Rookie card of Brooklyn Dodger pitcher is one of the best in the lot. No creases or bends, perfect back. Some signs of minor wear on the corners. Charly Maxwell-#162 No creases or bends but it looks like the number 1 has been written on the lower left corner of the TV along with a horizontal line. On the back the word "out" has been written lightly in pencil. Lower right corner is bent, other corners show signs of wear. Willard Nixon-#177 One of the best cards of this lot. No creases or bends, card is very well centered and corners show minimal wear. Slight bump on lower left corner. Rip Repulski--#205 No bends or creases on this card. Back is perfect. Corners rounded. The number "1" has been written in the lower left of the TV and the number "2" is lightly written on the lower right side, both in pencil. Harvey Kuenn--#132 Worst card in the lot has some sort of damage caused by what appears to have been tape across the portrait. Penciled in number "1" in upper left and lower left of TV. Paper tear where it says color tv. Minor wear on the corners. Back is unbleamished and is in good shape. Bob Nieman-#145--The edges are all rounded on this card but there are no stains or paper tears. There is a crease in the lower right corner that branches off and makes two creases. The back has an "X" written there for no discernable reason but is otherwise okay. Johnny Klippstein--#152 The corners of Johnny's card are also rounded and show signs of wear. But there are no creases, stains or random "X"'s anywhere to be found. The rear of the card is unremarkable. George Susce-#320 The corners of this card are worn and show signs of use. There are no stains that I can see but there are multiple vertical creases or fissures on this card that cut through the center of the card in the middle.
