Rare 1966 Marvel Comics Stan Lee No-Prize M.M.M.S. Award Lot

Description: Up for auction is the very sought after and elusive No-Prize award that Marvel presented to a reader that found an error in a comic book's artwork or story. This reason for getting one is the first of its kind that I have heard of. The previous owner (Craig) said that he ordered a M.M.M.S. kit back in 1966. He was so excited because two of his Cub Scout friends had joined and saw their kits. When his arrived he was missing the welcome letter and got only four, Thing stickers. He felt cheated and had his mom write Marvel to report the mistake. Not only did they send him another letter and three stickers (to make the seven his friends had received) but also a No-Prize. There was a notecard that stated how Marvel was sorry for his disappointment and by pointing out this mistake was bestowed a No-Prize. He stored all his Marvel Comics and memorabilia in his mom's attic (after the divorce) and just found most everything during COVID when he sold his late-mother's house. The explanation card and all his model kits were missing and can't find them. The outer envelope, letter, stickers and No-Prize are in Very Fine+. His name is written on the No-Prize but said it came that way. These were earned and never available for purchase by the general public. . .until now. All items are 100% authentic.
