St. John Pattle in 1940, a Royal Navy (RN) Sea Gladiator serving with the Hal Far Fighter Flight, a unit formed during the Siege of Malta in 1940, a Finnish Air Force (FiAF) Mk.II serving with 2 Flight, No.16 Squadron 2 Lentue Lentolaivue 16 (2/LeLv 16), a FiAF Gladiator J8 (Mk.I) serving with Flygflottilj 19 (F19) or Lentorykmentti 19 (LentoR 19), a FiAF unit manned by Swedish volunteers during the Winter War of 1940 and a RAF Gladiator Mk.I serving with 247 Sqn based at Roboroughs, during the Battle of Britain in 1940.
