There are no eyes for the hooks. 11-1/2” at the topThe lace flounce is approximately 31”Width – 6-3/4” This antique collar has a distinctive provenance coming from the estate of Delia Field, wife of the famous 19th century department store magnate Marshall Field of Chicago. She was an avid collector of antique textiles and linens in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. After the death of Marshall Field in 1906, Mrs. Field moved to Washington, DC and lived in the "Pink Mansion" on 16th Street NW until her death in 1937. Our last two pictures show a National Portrait Gallery painting of Mrs. Field and her Pink Mansion. Over the next few months we will be offering approximately 75 unique listings of masterpieces from her collection - tablecloths and table linens, various bed linens, antique lace, antique garments and other rare silk and linen textiles. They can be found in our eBay shop in the store category "MRS. MARSHALL FIELD TEXTILES" and all will have an inventory number at the end of the title that begins with DF, in case you want to search for more of her exquisite treasures here.
