Description: A set of 6 amazing photo postcards of tribal African women, photographed by Italian photographer Vincenzo Carcavallo. There are only 2 photos from this postcard collection I was able to find that exist and they belong in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston currently. One of them that MFA Boston holds is in this set as well. The other 5 photos have no record on the internet (this is the first). The description on the back of the picture says in Italian “COSTUMI AFRICA ORIENTALE” which translates to “EAST AFRICA COSTUMES.”. Then at the bottom of the back is the name and address of the photographer/company “Ditta Carcavallo - Napoli Via Saverio Baldacchini, 29” and it translates to “Company of Carcavallo - In Napoli [Italy], via Saverio Balacchini [street address]” We combine shipping!
