It is an antique/vintage piece marked, "Niloak" by Eagle Pottery, Benton, Arkansas. The identification Mark on the base dates this vase to perhaps, 1910. It has a smooth outer surface. The interior clearly shows that it is a handmade artist's work. This vase has a pleasant and unique feel being free of glaze. The colorful spirals of clay add to this truly American work's artistry. Because this vase is handmade and unglazed it does show imperfections. This adds to the uniqueness of each vase.
