Description: RARE VINTAGE BOLEX H16 EL CAMERA PACKAGE. Purchased from an estate from a collector/photographer who took care of it well. This listing includes many rare hard to find original Bolex items. It’s regular 16mm format and a MARK 1 VERSION. Currently running great at all speeds (I’ll upload a video soon). Comes in Bayonet mount with PL and C-Mount adapters. Also included is a matching Kern Vario Switar compact 17-85mm f 3.5 H16 RX ZOOM LENS. Glass is excellent condition with no issues and the zoom/aperture functions properly. Accessories include many cables for the batteries/power pack. Adapter cables to modern XLR power. Run/Stop switch cable. Cable for SYNC. Battery charger. TOBIN TMX-24 Crystal control. Note: batteries are untested and probably need to be recalled. Charger and battery pack probably work but untested. Same with the crystal control. All untested. The modern adapter/power cables are in like new condition and work fine. Original manual included. Also included is Bolex compendium bellows/matte box adapter mount and screws which is removed. 15mm rods and small rig rod mount (as pictured attached to the camera) is not included. 50mm prime lens is pictured only to show PL mount works and is NOT included. Camera comes with one lens. Also included is some old expired 16mm Kodak film so you’ll be ready to shoot/practice immediately. Lastly, it should be understood that this camera is old, in used condition and although working fine right now, it should get a CLA by an experienced technician after being purchased (as is the case for any vintage camera that hasn’t been serviced in years). After which you can be sure to get the absolute best results out of this camera and use it for many more years. And it clearly has a lot more years of life left in it.
