Description: A lovely rare country primative folk lore handmade doll shelf sitter. Dawning a straw hat, She holds a grey cat on one side and a satchel over the other shoulder. She has painted little black flats on her feet. She is also signed on her back. Created by Elaine Russell Pig Pen Hill in 1995 in NH. The doll's name is Edna. Her face, hands and feet are actually fabric sewn then painted. A process that intrigues me. I had to go back for her She is in very good condition and it wasn't until I was taking pictures that I noticed the fading of her dress. Her dress is blue in back and under vest but faded in front. Could possibly dye her dress again. See last two pictures. Pre-owned About 21"L Signed 1995 Dress is fainted in places *I enjoy picking up some interesting and beautiful vintage and modern items in hopes to find them a new home and save them from the landfill. *Proceeds will be going to college expenses for an amazing young artist!
