Description: This is a very rare and super cool natural almost complete fossil spruce cone sometimes referred to as a fossil pinecone by some rockhounds which was hand dug in Virgin Valley, Nevada. This Mid Miocene fossil spruce cone specimen was hand dug and carved out of the volcanic ash matrix and then stabilized for a nice display specimen. This spruce cone measures 5.26 inches long by 1.03 inches wide.
