Description: This is a unique, and absolutely beautiful piece by world renowned glass artist, Hans Godo Frabel. This piece deviates from most of his other 3 dimensional sculptures, as it is a flat, round plate, with a very minimalistic design. It measures approximately 9" in diameter, and about 1/2" thick. It is signed "FS 94" (Frabel Studios, 1994). The beautiful, intentionally imperfect star motif is precision engraved, about 2mm deep, into the center of the plate. It is then masked off and etched with a sandblaster in order to achieve an attractive, frosted finish. This piece is in absolutely excellent condition, and is completely free of any chips, cracks, flea bites, repairs, or other damage.
