Per Brad Jackson at Jackson Audio, the El Guapo has the same tones and is essentially the same pedal as the Jackson Audio ASABI, with the exception of different artwork and name (due to naming conflict with a different pedal from another company) and a few usability circuit tweaks that include... "FYI here are the differences between the EL GUAPO and the ASABI 1. Modular Distortion Circuits on the ASABI 2. ASABI loses the parametric EQ trimmers that the EL GUAPO had. 3. Overdrive circuit in the ASABI changed to be less "mid peaky" and more flat per Mateus preference. All of the clipping modes have been consistent from day one."
