Description: OLD MID 20TH CENTURY VINTAGE HEAVY 3 PIECE STERLING SILVER RANGER STYLE BELT BUCKLE, KEEPER AND END COMPLETE SET—- This very old complete ranger set was hallmark stamped by the maker on the back of the main buckle but we are not familiar with the brand. It reminds us of a Vogt or Elk Creek buckle set based on its style, heavy weight, and high detail hand engraving. The condition is good true vintage with a naturally aged patina showing the customary slightly darker finish that develops on sterling silver over many decades. Notice that each piece features an attractive red ruby or garnet gem stone. The main buckle measures 2 1/4” x 2” and has an opening to be used with belts up to 5/8” wide. The keeper also has a 5/8” opening and the tip or end piece has a 5/8” opening. The total weight of the set is about 2 ounces.
