Description: Beautiful little sterling silver, vintage, Mexican pin/brooch handmade, numbered and signed by the famed shop of Margot de Taxco. Two white doves or lovebirds, champleve enameled, that are embellished with colorful accents face each other in a very artistic manner. A very desirable and collectible example that is in nice condition. (see photos) ** Please note the darkened areas on the enamel that appears to be oxidation (?) of the silver. The surface of the brooch is smooth, not broken. Pin clasp works fine. Signed Margot de Taxco 5868 and has an eagle 16 symbol. Hecho en Mexico.
