Description: ~Rare~ Vintage pocket knife with watch chain. Features pinstripe etching and a risque silhouette etched into one side of silver handle. It has an almost optical illusion effect, as it only becomes obvious with certain angles and lighting. I attempted to capture this in the photos, but I couldn't do it justice! Visible part of tang stamp reads "Bates &" - believe this to be a Bates & Bacon gold-filled knife, but I cannot attest to this as I was unable to locate any jeweler's hallmark or other indicator of metal type. Unable to view third line of tang stamp without disassembly. Please see photos for condition - this is a beautiful piece in remarkable condition for its age.
