Description: These are 3D-printed replacements for the commonly cracked and/or faded rear seat belt covers in all 1991-2000 Lexus SC300, SC400, and Toyota Soarer models. Modeled directly from a 3D scan, these replacement covers serve as both a replica and upgrade of the OEM parts; they are designed to reflect all details and accents of the factory part, printed with high-quality filament to provide adequate structural, thermal, and UV resilience while offering a close color match to most SC and Soarer interiors, and extremely easy to install and/or remove using a simple friction/press-fit rather than the brittle OEM-style tabs. These covers are sold as a pair for a complete replacement; they can be installed in a matter of minutes and are labeled according to their placement on the vehicle. Compatibility: These rear seat belt covers are compatible with all 1991-2000 Lexus SC300, SC400, and Toyota Soarer models. They are direct replacements for all variants of Lexus / Toyota part #73315-24010/24011 (right) and #73316-24010/24011 (left). These 3D-printed parts are sold as a pair to replace both the left and right OEM covers. They are labeled with an ‘L’ and ‘R’ respectively to ensure installation in the correct orientation. Appearance & Customization: These rear seat belt covers can be printed with light/dark tan, light/dark gray, or black filament to match most OEM interior colors in all SCs and Soarers. Please specify your preferred color when placing your order. Please note that the color of these seat belt covers may not be an exact match to your vehicle’s interior. Multiple factors such as vehicle age, environmental conditions, and general wear and tear on the seats lead to varying levels of discoloration of the original leather, which may mean the color of these 3D-printed parts may not match perfectly. If preferred, you may also sand and paint these covers in a custom color or to better match your specific interior color. Fitment & Sizing: This part is designed to be a direct replacement for an OEM part without any modification necessary. It was modeled directly from a 3D scan to ensure a perfect and flush fit with the factory rear seats and buckle assembly. In order to make the installation and removal (if necessary) of these seat belt covers much easier, these replacement parts no longer incorporate the U-shaped tabs that grip around the angled “catches” on each of the seat buckles; these tabs are prone to snapping quite easily during the assembly/disassembly process. The new design instead relies on a tight friction fit around the seat buckles, which both simplifies their installation/removal and provides a strong mechanical bond between the two parts. Installation: In order to install the replacement seat belt covers, the bottom half of the rear seats must be pulled up and out of the way to reveal the seat buckle assembly – they do not have to be fully removed from the vehicle, just moved far enough away to allow removal of the buckle and bracket assembly, which is bolted to the floor of the vehicle. After loosening the bracket and removing the assembly, the existing covers can be removed from the buckles by using a wedge/pry tool to carefully bend the U-shaped retaining tabs around the plastic catches, and then forcefully separating the covers from the buckles. Once the OEM covers are removed, the buckle/bracket assembly can be reinstalled in the vehicle. Then, the new covers can be matched up with their corresponding left and right buckles and pressed directly and carefully downwards into place. Once the new covers are pressed on, they can be tucked under the bottom of the upper half of the seats. Finally, the bottom half of the rear seats can be carefully reinstalled. Material: All color variations of these seat belt covers, except one, are 3D-printed using ASA filament. ASA is a strong, heat-resistant (up to 200F), and UV-stable filament that offers superior properties compared to the ABS that comprises most interior plastics. ASA will not bend, break, sag, or melt when subjected to high interior temperatures, and will not degrade or fade when exposed to sunlight. Due to limited color availability of ASA, the 'light tan' color variant of this part is 3D-printed in PETG plastic. This filament is slightly less heat resistant (tolerates up to 170F), but has been printed with higher infill to effectively provide the same thermal resilience as ASA. It is also a strong and UV-resistant plastic that is fit for this application. Disclaimer: Due to the nature of 3D-printed parts, some small surface flaws and layer lines will be visible in the final product. I have done my best to optimize the fit and finish of the final printed parts and will conduct a quality and fitment check before shipping – however, please understand that these parts will not be 100% perfect in comparison to those made through injection molding by an OEM.
