Description: This VHS tape features the beloved comedian Red Skelton in "The Lost Episodes". The tape was released in 1997 by GoodTimes Home Video and is a must-have for fans of classic comedy. PER THE BACK COVER: "Newly discovered comedy gems from TV's puniest performer of madcap characters! Originally aired in TV's Golden Age, these rare sketches feature the quick-witted ad libber and comic genius of Red Skelton. This unique compilation begins the 1959 monologue spun from the same fabric as a sack dress, the fashion rave of the day. It is followed by a 1955 spoof of THE HONEYMOONERS, with PETER LORRE as Ralph Kramden, the hearse driver, and Red as Ed Norton who greets his wife with a pun of the year's big song, "Let Me Go Lover". In 1959, Clem Kadiddlehopper wanders into Li'l Abner's Dogpatch and, after goggling over Daisy Mae, decides to live high on the hog. AUDREY TOTTER (Medical Center) plays George Appleby's wife in Red's 1959 sketch about a frightened crime witness, and he can't help but ad lib when he sees the hoodlum's disguise. In 1960, master of the macabre VINCENT PRICE appears as an actor in need of boxing training from muddle-brained Cauliflower McPugg, who manages to steal the girl, do the cha-cha, and make sputnick jokes..." Tape also includes skits with AMANDA BLAKE (Gunsmoke), BILLY GILBERT, FRANK LOVEJOY and features Red as San Fernando Red and Freddy the Free-Loader, and closes with Red's iconic "God Bless and Good Night".
