Description: Remington R-1123 A, 1982-1992, 10th Anniversary Bullet Knife "NEAR MINT" The modern era of Remington Cutlery started in 1982 with the production of Bullet year knives. Year knife posters by L.W. Duke & Bruce Wolfe are companions of Bullet collections starting in 1982 through most of the 1990's. In addition in 1988 Remington started the Silver Bullet Collectors Editions. AKA Sterling Silver Bullets they come in green & yellow boxes in limited numbers. Some of these have engraved bolsters. The R-1123 is a (2) blade trapper, nickel silver bolsters and silver bullet inlay, acrylic scales, brass liners, thong hole, 10th Anniversary 1982-1992 & Remington etched on a blade. This knife is 4 1/2" closed. The blades are in factory condition at 3 5/8"each made of 440 stainless steel tempered to a Rockwell hardness 56-59. There is an original light metal box and papers that are part of this offering. The box pictures this knife and all Silver Bullet knives from 1982 - 1992 with a large picture of 4 hunters in two canoes trying to stay upright and un-snagged. Knife has not been resharpened, carried or used, but their is a small crack on the butt end at the lanyard hole(each side). Another fine example of a substantial Remington Knife. One of a kind. Please take a look at the pictures. Thank you for your interest. Tang stamp & R1123 A & 1982-92
