The micro switch kit will fit all vintage Hamilton Beach triple head malt mixers made between 1940 & 1977. This switch, which is an exact replica of the replacement switch that Hamilton Beach came out with, replaces a faulty cup switch. In the late 60's, Hamilton Beach replaced malfunctioning switches with this micro switch kit, rather than try to repair the old switches on 3 head models 40DM (1940-1963), and later model 940 (1963-1977). Today, you will find that many switches in these mixers have already been replaced using these micro switches. The micro switch is a simple solution for repairing bad switches. The very small spring that is in the old switch is probably the weakest link on those trusty old mixers.Kit comes with attached pigtails and screws to easily install the new switch on the old switch frame.
