Description: Gorgeous Antique ChandelierExcellent restored antique condition! Working well, updated wiring and ready for you.A true antique light, signed by the F.W. Wakefield Brass Co, and with a patent date of 1910 by the company name an at the ends of the arms. The Perkins sockets have a patent date of 1899. The Hubbell shade holders each have multiple patent dates on them from 1903 and 1904. What a stunning beauty!The reproduction glass shades are gorgeous, with no chips or cracks. The copper flashed finish is beautiful, with the finish having been touched up on the arms and on the thin pole in the middle. She uses 4 standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts each (or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage). Light bulbs and ceiling mount screws not included. Here are details about the restorer:The late Bob Daly was a marathon runner and worked in his family's burgler alarm business until he started his own antique lighting restoration business in Fenton, Michigan in the 1980's: "Historic Lighting Restoration Services and Sales". He was restoring antique lighting for almost 40 years. This beautiful light was thoughtfully and skillfully restored by Bob to the tiniest detail. From new wiring to cleaning to touching up, buffing and polishing, Bob was a master at the details. He loved what he did and was excited to share these restored works of art with the next generation (see a newspaper article picture him in photo #24). He worked with loving care, and you can be proud to own one of his restorative works of art. We are certainly proud to have acquired his amazing collection, as we also restore and sell antique lighting and love to share it with all of you who want true antique pieces that have historic personality in your homes and buildings.
