The Hubbell shade holders each have multiple patent dates on them from 1903 and 1904. What a stunning beauty!The reproduction glass shades are gorgeous, with no chips or cracks. The copper flashed finish is beautiful, with the finish having been touched up on the arms and on the thin pole in the middle. She uses 4 standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts each (or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage). Light bulbs and ceiling mount screws not included. He was restoring antique lighting for almost 40 years. This beautiful light was thoughtfully and skillfully restored by Bob to the tiniest detail. From new wiring to cleaning to touching up, buffing and polishing, Bob was a master at the details. He loved what he did and was excited to share these restored works of art with the next generation (see a newspaper article picture him in photo #24). He worked with loving care, and you can be proud to own one of his restorative works of art.
