Description: Offered here is this hard cover early edition of Reveries of a Bachelor, or, A Book of the Heart, by Ik Marvel. The book is in fair to good condition, for such an old book. Unfortunately, it is very old, and the pages are very yellowed, and brittle. The book has a copyright date on it of 1893, and is the Authors Complete Edition, with a new preface. The book was published by Charles Scribner's Sons in New York, and was originally published in 1850. The cover has some scuffs and stains on it, as well as some wear at the corners and edges. There are some pencil marks inside the front cover. The spine and binding are holding for the most part, although they are beginning to loosen and tear away, and the first few pages of the book are loose from the binding. The front and back covers are beginning to tear loose from the binding as well. The book has 217+ pages, all intact. The book is a small size book, and measures 6" long, 4.25" wide, and is only about 1" thick. It would be a must have addition to your collection of antique early edition books.
