These have only been used in Freshwater since new. Counter works Sold big boat due to age and by choice I have not used in several years as my brother and I have switched fishingSo they have just been gathering dustTime for new owner After I bought this New during the installing process I dropped this on the concrete floor. It cracked by the spindle however I have used it for our fishing needs as it is without issues. See picture. I never even super glued it. My fishing partner who passed use to repair them and he told me you can take this reel off, press the pieces even using clamps and use a soldering gun to weld them back if you wanted. He is the one who told me to use it as it was as this brand was well made and I did. It never affected our use of it. I am selling it was is. View pictures and you decide.
