Heralds are advertising flyers that are typically placed at theaters, and sometimes included in Playbills and Programs. This single sheet, double sided herald is for Cyril Ritchard's "Roar Like A Dove", featuring the Original Broadway Cast of Betsy Palmer, Derek Godfrey, Charlie Ruggles and Jessie Royce Landis, and playing in pre-Broadway tryouts at the Wilbur Theatre, in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1964. The souvenir herald is in very good vintage condition, with no rips, tears, writing or damage, and minimal soiling and wear. However, there is some creasing and small brown spots of soiling along the top one inch of the herald. At this time and over the next few months, I will be selling a number of vintage heralds, playbills, souvenir programs, as well as other movie and theatre memorabilia, and will combine shipping if at all possible.
