With the Publisher's Copyright Stamp (see images). Edition: Limited Size: 47 x 13.8 inches French artist Robert Delaunay cofounded the Orphism movement with his artist wife Sonia Delaunay and others. This movement was noted for its use of strong colours and geometric shapes. His later works were more abstract, reminiscent of Paul Klee. His key influence related to bold use of colour, and a clear love of experimentation with depth and tone. This print comes unframed and has never been framed. It has been stored flat in an archival sleeve at a smoke-free home. In excellent original condition apart from one or two soft handling creases. The colours are bright and fresh. This print will be sent out in a tube, with the print wrapped in acid-free materials. Although every effort is made to photograph the items accurately and describe products in detail, please note certain computer monitors may vary in its depiction of colours.
