Don Walsh attended the commemoration party where he shared his stories and experiences of the historic dive made by the Bathescape Trieste that he piloted. That dive tested the extreme durability of the now famous Rolex timepiece that was strapped to the hull of the craft and helped launch the successful Submariner line of Rolex watches.
