Description: So this car — to begin — is very rough as you can see via the images above, but even so it is one nice bird. It is a 1970 Plymouth Superbird, and possibly the most noticeable thing about it is that it is missing the unique huge rear spoiler. I’ve had this car for years and there was a period in my life where I was a huge fan of the Superbird and this was one of many I have collected, but unfortunately this one isn’t one of the prettiest to say the least. It is a 1:64 in scale size by Johnny Lightning, and has a blue exterior with a black roof and a white interior. It has an opening hood, which beneath has a really nicely detailed engine, and it also has rubber Goodyear tires. As shown in the pics it has multiple scratches and chips and — most notably again — the huge rear spoiler is gone, which makes it look more like a plain Roadrunner with the nose of a Superbird but it is indeed a Superbird. It also has metal hubcaps and — the flaws aside — it is a very cool and legendary car, once a car used in NASCAR — an example is the #43 car driven by Richard Petty — and so on. So although this may look nothing like those or even like the muscle car it once did (it more seems like a type of unintentional demolition derby car) it is still really cool and would be a neat addition to any collection — maybe even a candidate for restoration or reparation. Feel free to message me with any questions, thanks so much for looking!.
