Description: READ BEFORE PURCHASE: FULL DISCRIPTIVE DISCLOSURE DO NOT BE DECIVED PLEASE 1 pound 10 ounce US YOU GET THE EXACT STONE IN THE PICTURES : sorry for somwhat poor quality pic's they are NOT enhanced in any way, taken outdoors, in shade, no lights, simple I-phone, and they do look better in person than that photo method. The brownish/whitish spots on some sides of this are not different rock, they are simply jack-hammer marks This 1 pound 10 ounce rough turquoise specimen, mined from the Tonapah region of Nevada, is a unique addition to any collection. The natural hard rock with its distinctive color and texture, is unique. The specimens have not been graded, this is what is considered "unsorted" as the only look at it was quick and no saw sample was taken. The country of origin for this rough turquoise is the United States, adding to its rarity and appeal. It is ideal for collectors and lapidary enthusiasts alike, and its uses extend beyond the scope of jewelry making. This specimens are a great conversation piece and a valuable addition to any collection. Many buyers place these bolders on display at there rock shop or vendor booth as conversation starter which they report leads to sales, some have resold the bolders making good profit. We suggest (just our opinion only) is to keep it intact as a unique bolder and not break it up (we serious believe inside, if color is present, will be just more splash like on the surface. In tack the bolder can be sprayed with a simi-gloss clear (not urethane) paint to keep its wet look and not look fake (the gloss looks fake). Again: suggest: if you want to break it up and try cutting and polishing, see our other post where we sell broken rock, non-graded, mine run or saw bottooms and use that material for practice or creating small jewlery items, you will also NET more weight in the 1 KG offers for our other mine discards. We hope to help all with your purchases. What this ORE is : It is certified from our mine, Blue Silver 2, Tonopah NV and certificate comes with each shipment. It is from our personal mines we have mined for over 12 years and sold here on EBAY for that time. It is mostly Tonopah green and some is mixed color (polychrome) blue green black It is 100% natural hard rock in matrix (jack hammered out , not free nuggets) It has no grade attachted to it, (good, high, gem etc.) most of it = a no grade due to limits of solid color It has been discarded during our saw cutting grading processing of our ore It has nice colors and small lighting type strike veins in it It is unique patterned It keeps a shine , wet look , for display easy with simi-gloss clear spray. I believe it is better as a display vs being sawed up for jewlery as most mines do not sell bolders at all. Pictures were taken with simple I phone, outdoors in shade, no lighting tricks, and we do not use ANY photo enhancements. The first 6 pictures are water only wet, the next 6 pics are stone dry and the last is water wet. Use our hand as a scale of size for this rock Shipping is free to you and is USPS prioraty mail, Jill, the mine owner is a quick sent out too.
