Description: eBay Listing Template r1 RUSSELL & ERWIN CIRCA 1870-80 RIM LOCK w/KEY, KEEPER & ESCUTCHEONS (20643) Vintage: Circa 1870-1880 Russell & Erwin rim lock given a full inside and outside restoration, comes with the keeper, key and both the knob and the key escutcheon. The lock is reversible, if you need to have it reversed, let us know before shipping, check our 'Hand of Doors' slide, we will be glad to do it for you before ship it. Very well made rim lock, we have cleaned it but not removed the remaining paint for the purists. Box is 4 3/8" wide by 3 3/8" high. Matching keeper is with the set. Backset for the knob post is 3 5/8". Flip lock on the top of the lock works just fine. . Both the knob escutcheon and the key escutcheon are included in the set. If you need porcelain knobs, let us know and we can add them to the description and the cost prior to you ending the auction for $15 per pair for white or black. If you need extra keys, we can file them for $20 each. The lock has been thoroughly tested, cleaned inside and out, very well made, functions perfectly, should be good for another 100 years!
