Weather damage is not covered under USPS Priority insurance without a heatpack! It is the customer's responsibility to add a heatpack to their order if needed. 2) We ship from the Metro Detroit area of Michigan where it can get cold enough to snow from September to May, we try to be mindful of temperatures and take plant and cutting orders to the post office when weather dictates instead of having our carrier pick up. 3) To try and prevent possible issues with delays, all plants and cuttings are shipped via priority mail. We only ship these items on Mondays and Tuesdays to hopefully have them received before the weekend and not sitting in a sort facility. 4) Priority mail does provide $50 worth of insurance, if you'd like additional insurance reach out to us BEFORE MAKING YOUR PURCHASE. Please note that postal claims often require you to take photos of the item at the time of unboxing and KEEP all items, packaging materials and container. 5) We do offer optional heatpacks on a separate listing to help keep plants warm in winter transport.
