Nonetheless, if you collect notes from Maine, then you should consider this one, as you may never see another offered. Believe it or not, adjusted for inflation, $3 had nearly $300 buying power, when this note was printed; so making it appear circulated, for passing off as real at the time, was necessary. Maine is always been a popular state for obsolete currency fans.
