The BE469 also includes a built-in alarm that detects activity, tamper and forced entry. Requires a Z-wave hub/controller such as a Ring Alarm Base Station, Smartthings Hub, or other Z-wave controller. Some hubs also allow control by Amazon Alexa or Google Home. If your controller has a phone app, you can control and monitor it remotely. With some alarm systems (such as Ring) you can arm or disarm your alarm system directly from the lock. Note: Z-wave only, not Z-wave Plus. Connecting to your hub requires that you first exclude the device, then include it.
