Parker and Jim Frost"OFPARKER FROST CUTLERYA very short lived Company that only lasted from1976-1978It was Located in Chattanooga TennesseeNow if you're not already wondering how, who or when and why this knife is Stamped "SCHRADE 1978-5"and how this knife being made by the ever far reaching and powerful Albert Baer of the Imperial Schrade and Associated Companies of Ellenville New York well it's because Ole Albert thought it pertinent to screw over an otherwise faithful customer simply because he could and it would turn out to be a disastrous mistake that would end the Parker Frost Partnership and it would sit Ole Albert back a load of money and time. This is just one of a very limited "PREFERRED STOCK SERIES"knives built by the Imperial Schrade and Associated Companies Corporation during the mid to late 1970's for James F. Parker and Jim Frost and this Knife came right off a Very Collectible Parker Frost Display. It has Genuine Rogers Redbone Jigged Handles and a 1095 Hardened Carbon Steel Blade with Beautiful Nickel Silver Bolsters and Solid Brass Liners, this is a masterpiece thought up by none other than James Parker and of course Jim Frost during thier very short lived Partnership. They were initially supposed to be sold in four very prominent Cutlery stores in Tennessee but after it was found that the Schrade Name had been Stamped on each knife all hell broke out and a several million dollar lawsuit and an eventual settlement would evolve and the knives were sold off to anyone who would buy them.
