Description: Very hard to find special thread nut that fits valve stems. For some reason Schrader made valve stem to a unique size 0.305 x32. This is the same part that Harley sales for $8.00 for a set of two. You will get a first class US mail envelope containing a set of 5 nuts. Why the strange quantity, Why not sell them in multiples of two, that would be logical. Well I needed 4 to install pressure monitors on my motor home. When the tire guys replace my rear tires they trashed my old valve stems that had the locking nuts still on them. I found this out days later and miles down the road. When I finally located a supply of nuts I purchased the four that I needed and at a very high price $8.00 for a pair. I promptly installed them and in the process lost one in the grass. Therefore, the magic number is 5. Keep one for a spare. Please note to keep shipping cost low I am shipping via USPS, first class mail, No Tracking number.
