Description: Vintage ceramic canister with a design of a pioneer woman grinding coffee, while her cat sits nearby. This was originally part of a set of four canisters... I have only this one... Released by Sears Roebuck in 1978 and identified as "Country Coordinates" in the Sears 1978 Wishbook. Made in Japan. The canister measures about 5.5 inches tall without the lid, and with the lid, about 7.5 inches. This was the second to the smallest in the set of four. As was typical of Sears back then, the design was also issued in other accessories, such as a napkin holder, salt and pepper shakers, and more. You can start your collection today! Condition: Nice condition, but not perfect, there are a couple of small chips out of the frame surrounding the woman, and a small hairline crack near her head which does not go through to the inside. There are a couple glaze pops (in the making) on the lid. I would not hesitate to give this as a gift.
