Description: I purchased two of these watches for gifts a couple of years ago but did not give them. So I am trying to get my money out of them. Automatic watches do not keep perfect time right out of the box unless you buy them from a jewelry store, because they must be opened and adjusted by a watch person. Once they are adjusted, then it never needs a battery or anything. If you notice, the surface of the watch casing of the front is a silverish color, but it not chrome, it is more of a flat, gun-metal type finish. However, the surface of the back is chrome.
