Based on the caseback serial, this one dates to June 1999. The watch features a Cal. 8F56 perpetual calendar quartz movement accurate to 20 seconds per year. For setting instructions you can check the Youtube video on how to reset it, but any watchmaker can properly change the battery when it indicates it is running low by skipping seconds to avoid the reset; the perpetual calendar needs no setting other than daylight savings. This watch is in very good condition; only few light scratches on the bidirectional 24h bezel, case, caseback and bracelet. Mineral crystal with bullet date magnifier in excellent shape. The unique metallic salmon pink dial is in factory fresh shape and lume on the hands and 6/12 o'clock hour marks still strong. Screwdown crown secures well; the easily to degrade decorative red crown O-ring was replace. Date change occurs properly in mid-crown position by changing the hour hand; this moves a cool ultrasonic motor that drives the date wheel. GMT marker rotates properly with crown fully pulled out. The original 21/9mm custom lug original signed button clasp bracelet comfortably fits my 7.5 inch wrist; there are 1 full and 2 half links for a full bracelet set. Water resistance is 100m but the watch has not been pressure tested. Movement is clean, the battery was just changed (with original red insulator installed) and should last 8-10 years. No box/paper/tags. This is a well build classy-futuristic sports watch with a rare dial and reliable perpetual calendar movement. Don't miss out on this unique salmon dial 8F56 beauty!
