This edition features a tissue-protected frontispiece and vignette title page in addition to the book's original title page. The book is bound in a beautiful 3/4 calf-leather over marbled board treatment, likely of a period binder. Spine remnants have been reapplied over new spine leather and binding is edgeworn (please see pics.) Intact endpapers bear an 1854 English manor house bookplate. Very tight and square binding; very clean, bright, and crisp text with light foxing. 331 pages; measures approximately 6.75 x 4.5-inches.
