They are in used condition, and many have the original owner's name written inside the front, or other writing inside the front covers. They have erased prices and/or remnants of old price stickers. Some of them have catalog cards or writing/stamps from school libraries. The covers and pages show some wear and rubs from reading and storage, with some in nice condition with minimal wear, and some with more extensive wear, rubs, or creasing. The lot is a good chance to get reading copies of many different titles all at once, and this would be a good set to use with children, rather than a perfect set to keep displayed on a shelf.
