Arte Cubano Gustavo Ramón Acosta Pérez, was born in Havana on December 17, 1958. He studied from 1973 to 1977 at the San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts and at the Higher Institute of Art (ISA) from 1977 to 1982, both in Havana. At the beginning of his professional life, from 1982 to 1987, he was a member of the 4 x 4 Group, which was also made up of Moisés Finalé, José Franco Codinach, and Carlos Alberto García. He was a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba. Much of his work is devoted to the attempt to recover Old Havana from his childhood. Gustavo Ramón Acosta Pérez, nace en La Habana el 17 de diciembre de 1958. Realiza estudios desde 1973 a 1977 en la Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes San Alejandro y en el Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) a partir de 1977 hasta 1982, ambos en La Habana. A comienzos de su vida profesional, en el período de 1982 a 1987 fue miembro del Grupo 4 x 4 integrado además por Moisés Finalé, José Franco Codinach, Carlos Alberto García. Fue miembro de la Unión de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba. Gran parte de su obra está consagrada al intento de recuperar La Habana Vieja de su infancia.
