Description: Stunning set of two (2) curved rectangular ceramic sushi plates by Kafuh featuring embossed decorations of delicate cherry blossoms (Sakura) in white and brown on a black base with a matte finish. Each plate measures approx 7.25" x 5.5". Made in Japan. The maker's mark is imprinted. Plates are in excellent used condition without chips, cracks or scratches. The glaze shows drips on the underside of each plate, which is thought to be an artifact of the manufacturing process. See pictures for condition. This is a beautiful, elegant set that is sure to catch the eye and add to the culinary experience and enjoyment. But just as easily these plates would make a lasting impression as stylish trinket or candy dishes in homes where sushi isn't on the menu regularly. Iship in recycled/reused boxes.
