Lismore was created in 1952 and is the company's most famous pattern. It is still being produced. Marks and age: A faint Waterford script mark that was in use from 1986 until 2000 is on the base of all 8 glasses. Waterford with that mark was produced in Ireland. These glasses are almost certainly from the earlier end of that date range, with thicker, heavier stems and fine etching. Although all Waterford is beautiful, modern Waterford has not equalled the original quality as production moved from Ireland to other countries. If you have an older Lismore set, these brandy glasses will match it in quality. Size: They are 5 1/4 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches wide at the opening and 3 inches wide at the base. The set weighs 6 pounds 14 ounces. Condition: All 8 glasses are in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, stains, discoloration, repairs, water lines or fogging.
