Description: This intriguing piece of porcelain is marked on the bottom with the Sevres (France) mark for 1755. It is a porcelain, hand painted potpourri holder or perhaps a flower arranger. This piece does not have a lid. It may or may not have had one originally. There is no ledge for a lid to rest upon. The gold along the top and bottom were probably touched up some time in the past. And there is a small hairline crack which can be viewed in the 5th photograph. Other than these issues, it is a beautiful piece. Sold "as found." Look carefully at the photos as they perhaps can better describe this piece than I can using words. It truly is a lovely piece of porcelain!! I have liquidated estates for over 40 years.
