Especially recommended for highly valued models that combine many different materials. Mr.Surfacer is a series of top quality primers / liquid putty for polystyrene models. Thanks to the use of high-end components, the resulting coating is simultaneously extremely thin, durable and mechanically resistant. With proper use, there is no question of flooding even the most sophisticated model details such as rivets or delicate dividing lines. Mr.Surfacer: - improves adhesion and correct decomposition of modeling paints not applied, - makes visible and gives the opportunity to correct minor defects or shortcomings created at the stage of gluing or grinding the model, - during possible grinding spills like a putty and gives the opportunity to precisely correct errors, - if necessary, you can apply another layer of preparation to previously ground elements after the correction stage. Surfacers numerical values indicate the grain size in the primer. The higher the number (500->1000->1200->1500 ) the finer the grain and smoother the final coating. The lower the value ( 1500->1200->1000->500 ) the thicker the grain and the greater the putty properties. How to use: We recommend spraying the preparation with an airbrush. When painting with an airbrush, dilute it with Mr.Color Leveling Thinner in a ratio of 1:2-3 (Mr.Surfacer : thinner). Spread evenly "wet" over the entire surface of the model. When dried, the preparation will significantly reduce its volume, emphasizing all the sophisticated details of the model. After several dozen minutes, it is suitable for mechanical processing or applying consecutive layers. This time may be extended with increased humidity or lower temperature.
