Description: Here is a beautiful Shearwater Pottery wheel thrown vase in shades of blue green and yellow glaze over the buff reddish clay. Probably thrown by Jim Anderson, it was created at the family art colony in Ocean Springs Mississippi. It measures about 6 3/8 inches tall and 5 3/8 inches in diameter. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. Marked on the bottom with the die-stamped Shearwater cypher. A nice piece from the famous Southern Arts & Crafts Art Pottery.
