Description: Sherratt and Simpson was in business from 1985-2001 in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. The company was then purchased by Country Artists who continued to produced their products. The figurines are hand painted resin, quite realistic and nicely done. This is the seated Basset Hound dog. It measures 4" long by 3 1/4" tall. Impressed Sherratt & Simpson on a hindquarter and has the remains of a company label under the base. No chips, cracks, repairs or restoration. A few light scuffs to the surface decoration which we have not attempted to clean. Please enlarge and examine all photos carefully as they are considered part of the description.
