Description: Extremely rare piece manufactured between1894 and 1910 by George W. Shiebler & Co., which was in operation from1891-1910. The reverse side is marked with one of Shiebler’s well known “S with wings” trademarks, along with the words “STERLING” AND “PATENT APL’D FOR”. This piece is made in the elegant Napoleon pattern, which began production in 1894. The handle has a design of a holly wreath and ribbon. The length is approx. 4.25”. There is a monogram (the letter “C” in script) on the reverse side of the handle.This piece is in fabulous condition, as depicted in the photos.
