Description: Shiko Munakata, (1903-1975) was a celebrated print artist in Japan. For many years the Yaskawa Electric Co. commisioned him to illustrate a calendar that they sent to valued customers. The works are vivrant and beautifully printed. These prints have the entire year worth of illustrations. On the back is printed the name of the work, the year and month. All 12 are sold as a set. Each work usually sells for $40 each.Please note that these have been stored so some of the edges have been folded, but just the edges. Measurement: months 13 1/2 X 12 inches, 17 X 8 inches, 14 X 14 inches Vintage items have been stored and most defects have been noted or photographed. Please look at the photos carefully.
