THESE TEAR OFFS ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR - Shoei XR1000/X-SPIRIT helmets with CF-1/CF-1V type visors, KBC AR1 helmet visors, SCORPION helmet flat front race visors part number KDF-10-2 . They are manufactured in the U.K. by Bob Heath Visors Ltd, and are used by many leading motorcycle racers .They are made from a 0.007" (0.175mm) thick P.C. film supplied with white tissue paper between each film.They are designed to be fitted to flat front single curve race visors equipped with black tear off posts .To check if your visor is flat fronted , hold a straight edge vertically against the centre of the visor and it should sit flat against the face, if it does not you have the road type visor ( double curve bubble shape ) . You can fit them to normal double curve road visors (you will have to buy a tear off post fitting kit), but please be aware that they are made from a flat flexible material that will not stretch or mould to the shape of the double curve(bubble) , so they will not sit flat to the visor across the face , there will be gaps along the top and bottom edges of the tear off, which may require the use of small pieces of clear adhesive tape to help hold them in position . They give a light transmission of 20% and are designed to be used singularly or in conjnction with clear tear offs .They can be quickly fitted to your visor in bright sunlight conditions to reduce glare and eye strain/fatigue .You can use them on the road to help prevent damage to your visor from flying stones and insects .You can have clearer vision in an instant while riding to help keep it clean and generally prolong the life of your visor .They are sold in packets of five tear offs.
