It is heavy duty with all metal gears and is well known for it's ability to sew heavier fabrics. I have cleaned and oiled the machine. This is classic heavy duty Singer model that has built in stitches and can use cams for different stitches. It comes as pictured with: 7 cams, accessories shown, foot pedal, and power cord. The cams numbers are 1 - 5 , 15 & 21. The serial number dates it from around 1953. Overall a very nice heavy duty machine. No storage case is included.
