Description: So far as I can see, the cover says From Sir John to Lady Wilson, beneath it scored out. The love notelet is addressed to "Emily" so far as I can see and refers to the first blue violets of Spring.I'm presuming that the small dried posy, delicately tied, is said violets. The scrap relates to the Sir J.M. Wilson but is a note concerning a debt of the Duke of Kent. I think it's Sir John Morillyon Wilson (1783–1868), commandant of the Royal Hospital, ChelseaHe married Amelia Elizabeth Bridgman in 1824.
