As we are used to from Arai, the somewhat more rounded outer shell has not changed in terms of looks but they have made many adjustments inside the helmet. Arai has made adjustments to the visor, aerodynamics and ventilation.The RX-7V Evo has been wind tunnel tested and this has resulted in some changes to the Aerodynamics. The testing resulted in an updated spoiler that is adjustable in 5 different positions to fit your riding style. The spoiler reduces drag and provides more stability when riding hard, braking hard and reducing noise.Arai has also improved the chin spoiler. Once you have the helmet on, you can pull it down which contributes to minimizing wind resistance, directing the wind to the ventilation holes and reducing noise.MaterialThe RX-7V Evo is made from Arai's PB SNC 2 which comes from Arai's Formula 1 technology. This means that a reinforcement is placed just above the eyes which results in a stronger helmet and a better field of view. Furthermore, the helmet comes in 7 sizes and 5 outer shell sizes which is an excellent number because the more shell sizes you have the more compact the helmet fits. This results in less unnecessary material being used and the helmet will also be lighter. In addition, a compact helmet also looks better.Furthermore, the helmet features a multi-density EPS inner shell.
